Tune Up Your Meal-Planning Skills: Tips to Save Time and Stretch Your Budget

Featuring Molly Christenson, Financial Literacy Program Coordinator at UBT

Molly kicked off the year’s first Tune-Up session with a fun participation exercise to see how everyone approaches grocery shopping (spoiler: our answers were all over the board!). From there, she shared creative ways to stretch your budget, avoid impulse buys, and make meal prep less stressful. We learned how a little planning can make a big difference — from mapping out meals to traveling the perimeter of the grocery store.

Her upbeat, practical tips made meal planning feel totally doable. The presentation was packed with smart, actionable takeaways, and the Q&A delivered even more helpful insights. Missed it? No worries — you can still catch all the hacks and inspiration that will make both your wallet and your belly happy.
